- Download the chessbroadcast software.
- Launch the program : you should get the interface.

- You need to connect to the broadcast server : check that the connection URI is : rtmp://sd-1516.dedibox.fr/red5java or rtpm://chess-broadcast.com/red5java and click on connect : you should see connection successful and the game and connected lists.
- You can set a message on information panel : just type your text in the richTextEditor and click on send.
- You can reset the game list by clicking on reset game list.
- You can send a specific evaluation of a game by selecting it, typing the eval (e.g. white is better) and click on send eval. You can see your evaluation in the botton of the game window.
- You can define an image to show on the applet by setting an http URL of your choice and click an set IMG.
- You can kick or ban an user by selecting him and clicking on the appropriate button.
For broadcasting one or several games, you need a local or remote PGN containing the games. A local pgn could be generated with TOMA. You need to enter the url of the file to broadcast :
- If it is a local file : set "file:///C:/fileurl.pgn".
- If it is a remote pgn : set "http://www.asite.com/file.pgn".
Push the broadcast button and the broadcast starts ! The selected file is scanned and as soon as it changes, it is send to the broadcast server that handle it, create or update the games and dispatch it to kibitzing applets.
