• Most of chess broadcasts software work in "pull mode", that means the applet is refreshing every xx second the pgn file, chessbroadcast work in push mode : as soon as a game is updated, this update is automaticaly sent to applets kibitizing the game. This way it saves a lot of bandwidth and ressources. Thanks to this push technology, chessbroadcast is able to handle easily thousands of simultaneous connections. In addition, move are coming one by one and latency between move done on electronic DGT chessboard and Internet is less than one second.
• Thanx to innovative choices, chessbroadcast works in 99 % situations :
  • On Windows, Mac Os or Linux, you just need a browser and flash 9 already present on 99 % of computers.
  • Thanks to a tricky communication protocol (RTMP and RTMPT) chessbroadcast works even in enterprise networks with firewalls and proxies. You will be able to follow your favorite players from work !
• Chessbroadcast allow to chat with a general chat and en embed chat in each game window.
• It is possible to open and follow 4 game at a time.
• the interface has a photo viewer so you can view photos of the broadcast.
